Hello Everyone,
OK im telling you know i am pissed off because i had just wrote a big report and then it got deleted ok. i woke up this morning at about 6 because james who i work with was picking me up and 6.30 so i packed everything and made sure everything was prepared. we got to baroon at about 7 and we were excitedbecause with all the rain it could be on and off (fishing). after about 3 mins of casting bang zzzzz went james reel and after a good fight a bass finally arose to the boat then he decided to turn his head and pop goes the lure, then next cast james snapped one of his rods because of a defect then next cast james lost his jackall the after that i got a hook lodged in my finger which was very painful but i got it out, then we went to the usual hauntsforthe big fellas but we were greated by little guys so after 30 mins we endee up with three just legal bass to 33cm. then we both decided to try different lures i opted for a 1/2oz black and gold ausspin spinnerbait while james decided to use a 1/6th oz tt jighead with a 3 inch gulp minnow grub in mango ripple. after a good hour we ended losing a lot of fish and we ended up with about 10 bass to 36cm and then we went into this bay that was just a massive shallow weedbed and james got his new pb bass of 40cm and i got a bass of 37cm , then after about an hour of catchin more bass to 40cm we decided to head home but on the way there was a very fishy looking spot so i went for a cast and BANG after a solid fight and lots of big runs a nice bass of baroon arose of excatcly 50cm which what i though was a good way to enthe the day but upon taking pictures once we got back to the ramp we had relised that the frakin camera battery died so we had to use his camera phone but we still had a great time and we have proof of our fish so i will post them as soon as james sends them to me,
after all it was an alright day, the gear james was using was a shimano stardic 2500 and a major craft slicer rod and 6lb stren microfuse braid and 6lb seagar leader and i was using my new toy a shimano calcutta te dc 200 with 12lb platypus braid and 15lb and a g.loomis gl2 5 to 8kg rod which is my fav
seagar leader and the lures that worked today were tn60 jackalls in dragon, noike gill, rainbow trout, hl ayu, aussy shrimp and golden shiner., for spinnerbaits ausspin spinnerbaits in 1/2 oz in bony bream, black and gold and guppy colours and for plastics ecogear grass minnows and 3 ich minnwo grubs have a good read and a good laugh because even worse happened when we got home the electric plug that works the blinker would not come out of james car and snapped so i wont be goin in my boat antime soon hahah well things could be worse have a good read everone and enjoy P.S all fish were relased at the baot ramp
