This amazing season.
I've been wondering what things have contributed to this amazing year long season of good and easy fishing we have been experiencing. I think a fairly large part of this is due to this drought we have been living with like a toothache to a large part.
My reasoning for this is there are a lot of normally far offshore fish that are turning up onshore and even in our vier systems. The reports of pearlies even in some rivers is mindblowing to say the least.
Would the drought have brought offshore bait sources right in to the coast or would it be lack of rain has let onshore bait accumulate for longer and in bigger schools than normal?
Tactics are forever evolving but my thinking is the fish have to be there first for any tactical changes to take effect.
What other factors would you suggest have contributed to this feast of fish?
