Fixing a transducer cable??

Gday guys, i accidentally put a screw through my transducer cable . And it doesnt work. So i cut and spliced it. But it only still now works when its wants too. Does anyone know how to fix it propperly? Back too as good as it was before? Any advice or help would be much appreciated..

My first thread was about a cut transducer cable there was a heap of info on how to fix it ,have a look in the search thingy i think it was under cut transducer cable mate ...matt
