    Tue and Wed Nites Mud

Went out on Tue arvo , had a cast around the top of mud, then went down to HA to try there...all quite except for a Whale ...that was something different...then back to Mud before sunset...tied up and put out a bit of burley...picked up 5 keepers (SQ)...and a small grassie all on whiting....went back out last nite for a few hours...but couldnt even get a bite..so called it quits and came home and watched House....have a half day tommorow and a early one on sat..but might give then another go tommorow nite...at least there seem to be fish active around Mud again...

No so unusual. We often see small whales (minke??) either on their own or in pairs around Potts Point at different times of the year - as well as the more common dolphins, turtles and dugongs.

Humpbacks in the bay are rare and usually chased out as they become a navigational hazard!

    Hi JUJU

Went out last night too (about 8ish) to a spot 'east of Manly' - while at the ramp, s/w 3 boaties who all said there was only tiddlers out there. Anyway, i ended up with a 53 Snap and my 2 partners in crime in the other boat ended up with 4 in the 40's... Pretty quiet otherwise for the area we were in.

    Take Care T
