At the moment, nowhere. You could try Logan Inlet, but it is doubtful. Members of the Sailing Club can utilise the old cuttings into the river

    Matt,

A couple of my kayak fishing buddies recently fished Big W and had easy access at Logan Inlet. Albeit there is a new path down to the waters edge (the old conrete ramp is high and dry these days).

With last week's rain the water is slightly higher.

So you shouldn't have any problems.

    Cheers,

    Pete

i wouldnt hit it in 2 wd unless you have a small boat and slide down the mud into the water the dam didnt goi up that much with the rain we got though somerset did

Pumba You won't have much luck using the Sailing clubs entrance mate, you need a key which becoming a member will provide you the golden key to the gate. Ring them direct. In regards to 2 wheel access you won't be able to access from the saling club anyway. The entrance to the dam is to boggy.

    Hope this helps.

went for a drive up there this morning and the Logan Inlet ramp is accessable by 2wd. Just keep on the tracks. Launching would be ok as the ramp section is quite firm.

Just in front of the actuall ramp there was a heap of surface activity, and would be enough there to keep me interested for a fair while.

Keep an eye on the sounder as the most fish schools were actually not far from the inlet itself when I last went out in the yak. Basically where the river heads back up to the Hamon Cove area
    Cheers
