Thread: Coomera River.

    Coomera River.

    Hi all, went out yesterday avro, on the water by 3pm and ventured up the north coomera. Throw the net for some gar and mullet. My decky throw his cast net and jagged my new wilson 7' live fibre rod, which the got chopped up by the prop.
    Not Happy! Built a Bridge and went fishing around the red beacons for not a bite.
    Change position on the monster tide and fished the broadwater end of the _asp creek which produced the goods and ended up with entree and mains.
    Not alot happened till the moon return on the start of the run out.

    nice work stewie, pitty about the rod though, nice to see you getting onto some though, how big did those flatties go, cant really tell with the tape measure.

    Expensive feed that one. Mate its happens to best of us, at least you were out fishing.

    Nice feed but gees what a mess your Mate made of that rod!! I bet it was a bit icy for a few moments?
