thanks heaps guys....at least now i have an idea of what to look for......i would have to assume the 3 pack kokodas from krap mart are....ummmmm.....crap?
Heres my favourite, I use this combo for North pine dam but I imagine it would get fish pretty much anywhere.
1/2 TT Vortex in golden with a 3" atomic paddle tail and a gamakatsu stinger. This has caught me loads and loads of bass and a few yellow belly. It doesn't snag up either.
The Kokoda spinnerbaits aren't to bad. They'll still catch fish.
Yeah Sean the Kokoda's still do quite well - I have caught plenty of fish on them. But, if you are willing to spend an extra $10 or so you'd be mad not to get Bassmans or TT's. They are just an overall better Lure with a better range of skirts and blades.
Go get em'! (fish that is!)
Theo.

Sean,
Give Paul & Anthony Mundey a call on 0437 226 798 and have a chat as they make there own version of spinner baits and Paul is only too willing to give you advice on how to fish them. Just watch the time as he is full of helpfull advice. You can also make your own for about $2 each once you have bought the materials.
Cheers
I am pretty new to spinnerbaits too, I took a couple to mondurran earlier in the year expecting to catch a load of bass (not caught those before, i am from north queensland) but all I caught on them were catfish. I did catch my first bass though on a jackal.
These spinnerbaits are usually associated with the fresh water species, has anyone tried them in the estuaries?

Hey Peter,
There was a thread on this very subject a few weeks ago. It looks as though a lot of saltwater fish fall for spinners. Might be worth looking back a little way to find it. It was surprising to see what people have been catching using them.
I've always wanted to try them on Flathead, They'll usually gobble anything,
but then I'd be getting salt on my pretty little spinners
mate and i used chatterbaits and mummblers the other day and cleaned up these are the new beaut thing. cheers bdowdy
Spinnerbaits get right down there in the strike zone.
Got a couple of mummblers on sunday to try.
cheers rossco
Love spinnerbaits - particularly black twin spins. Check this web site for everything you wanted to know about spinnerbaits but were afraid to ask! http://www.bassdozer.com/articles/cr...t_primer.shtml
