hey how ya goin
on sunday morning scott ryan and i went fishing down at crab island. we started to drift down one side of the island and on the second carst i hooked a nice 30cm bream . scott and ryan were speechless . we kept drifting down when ryan hooked a nice 60cm squide ON A SP what a catch . after that we moved around the other side of the island to start a drift. in that drift we got nothing at all. so we moved down abit. we started to drift along this sand bank to chase flathead. after the 4th carst i hooked a flathead just under size ohwell. we kept drifting along for abit more. we're flicking away when i hooked another flathead . and this one was under size aswell haha. scott and ryan were about to thowe me over bored hahahahaha. scott wanted to do one more drift so we did. about half way down he hooked 2 flatdead one just under size and one was 45cm he was happy with that . after that we moved down to a spot where it had a big drop off so we drifted over that. on the 3rd carst i hooked a 45cm tailer and it hit hard my drag was goin off i had fun with that one. we kept drifting down past some rocks when ryan hooked a nice Jew fish. as he got it close to the boat it spat the hook on him. ryan was not happy . after that we tried one more drift. we got nothing so we just went back to the boat ramp. got the boat out of the water and went home .
i was very happy about that fishing trip and it was my first time at crab island and ill go back agen.
