420 dory wide body

anybody got any advice on these boats. I was planning on purchasing it and running my 30hp yamaha. will it handle going offshore to the close in reefs etc

i'd recommend the 40hp, give it that extra little oomff especially for bar crossings...

For what they are, they are fantastic little boats

Yep, Top little boats.
Used to have one with a 25 on it, and a 30 or 40 would have been better. Also get a full floor put in- those part floors are a PITA.

Good for run around/ estuary work but will handle runs to the closer reefs on a good day no worries.
