Lovely fish mate, and well done for the release, some times they are just to good to keep, the feeling of satisfaction you get watching that big girl slip off will last a lot longer than a feed of fish and chips.
Some nice cod there to
cheers

Go away for a few days, and your back at it again Rich.
great Jew fellas, i fish a lot lot heavier then you for them and they still give you the once over, so can imagine what it takes on your class line.
A good skippa in needed when you have to up and chase, so how did Rich fair???
Between you and Chief you certainly keep the river up there amongst some of the best places to fish, might have to start giving it ago again.

Great jew! Good read and well done.

Webby & Bluefin: I don't reckon it took much skill to up and chase. We weren't even anchored. The big girl did most of the towing and all I did was give chase into the deeper water. Nick did all the hard work fellas.
The funny thing was Whytey showed some great skill to guide the brute under the bow and around the boat on the strike. Pretty speccy when his reel is the only thing above the water and his stick is buried 6ft under and screaming!
It kinda reminded me of when a little kid takes his big Rotty for a walk and the line gets blurred on who's towing who. I'm just glad ther weren't any ships coming in or out cause we were in direct line of sight.
