maybe a reason behind taking all the water off councils??

    Gidday all,
The cook just sent me a link to Pauline Hanson's site and whilst sticky beaky around found this.
    http://www.paulinehanson.com.au/messages-06.06.php
Any body know more of this??
How come this hasn't been in the main stream media??
Or has it but I've just missed it.
To me that's just plain rude. Pinch something someone else has built up over a long period of time and taking a lot resources then basically sell it to the highest bidder

Re: maybe a reason behind taking all the water of councils??

Pauline Hanson is a gibbering git, claiming that people pay for water colloected in their own water tanks and pumped form their own bores, just plain stupidity.

Farmer get charged a small amount for water they collect in their dams simply because, if they hadn't built a dam than the water (or at least a percentage of it) would make it to a govt own dam for the public to use.

I myself have both a bore and a water tank at home and the only charges I pay are those from ergon energy, for the power I use to run the bore.

Her statement eludes to the fact thet people will be getting charged for the water falling on their roof and following they will eventually be charged for water falling in their own backyard. What a complete and utter moron, and to think there are people who do think that she makes a good political and national leader, I feel sorry for them, I really do.

More on the farmers getting charged for the collected water in their dams, I have many relatives that own and work on farming properties, and they do pay for water they collect but only a slight portion of what they actually do because not all water from rain etc ends up making it to rivers, creeks etc that feed into govt dams. They also are charged a heavily subsidised rate, I can't remember the exact figure but its nowhere near the amount domestic users pay. I should mention however that my relatives have their properties in NSW (Gundagai region) and Victoria, and are feeling the drought a lot worse than people may think.

Pauline Hanson needs to wake up to herself because she won't get anywhere making false statements and scare mongering.

I think the reason it isn't in the main stream media is because as scott says she is a gibbering git. It was entertaining rubbish the first time round but not worth the money to give her the air time.........on second thoughts she might be a better alternative than hearing about her American dumbass twin Paris Hilton

Pinhead....she can cook her own fast food. Why would she want to go into Macca's in the first place.
Anyways anything for a bit of thought provoking controversy
    And I'm bored

So a bit of theoretical thinking now seeing the fishing has been non existent for the last week.

If they can charge cockies for the runoff water that goes into the dam or weir etc why can't they charge Joe Bloe for the water going into his tank??
The water goes either into a creek or river which sometimes goes into a bigger dam controlled by the water mob.
The infra structure is there to be able to charge. The numbers (costings) are possible and because of the tank rebate scheme they have a list of a lot of people with tanks.

Scott in farNth QLD.... mate, I hope your bore is licensed.
And yep, cow cockies in QLD pay for the water and also the privilege of been able to pump bore water.
Most bigger bores I worked on had meters on them

Something else to consider is that everyone in W.A gets charged to use their own bore and are also told how much that they can use the bore. Don't think it can't happen.

We can be and ARE charged for bore water in queensland, if the water comes from a known and "OWNED" underground resevoir normally owned by someone like sunwater.
I was stunned when i moved up to the wide bay and realised we had to pay for bore water and yes the bores are metered!!

Poor poor Pauline, when will this girl realise that her intelligence is being wasted persueing another life of crime oops life of politics. She is a gossip queen that will gladly take anyone elses hearsay and claim it as her own truth and begin another ranting "please explain" episode.
She reminds me of those dogs that chase cars but are buggered to know what to do with them if they ever latched onto one. Imagine the Australian economy if she got to be PM one day?? God knows she is probably overqualified for the job having been rehabilitated by a govt agency for quite a few months.

As for the water we catch in our tanks and use I think the local councils will ammend thier rates notices for us to accomodate the rain they coulda been wasting themselves. After all how much of Brisbane's stormwater flows into any major catchment from the roofs of houses?

Poor Pauline, I can't help but feel sorry for her. Such a prime piece of sexuality cocooned in a tormeted politicians egotisical fate.

    Jack.

P.S. It amazes me how she became nominated as one of Australias Sexiest Women.
