Yep, day at home, serviced the reels, got the tackle box sorted, after that got bored with all the rain so went for a small drive, found some nice big puddles, a partially flooded road which was deserted, so like an small minded easily entertained bloke i am, i drove through it a few times,, back and forth, back and forth.. got bored with that so went looking for more water.. then went home , sorted out the sound system job done
Im easily entertained

I intend on living for-ever....so far so good
I didnt have my snorkel with me mate it was only 2 foot deep
You have way too much time on your hands Mike. I didn't think you had time to get bored??? Ah well, glad that you had fun in the puddles. The things we 4wd owners get up to on our days off (not that I get any of them).
I'll be officially on holidays in a couple of weeks. Two weeks off. Look out fish, here comes Poodroo with his new Pflueger placcie outfit.
Poodroo
i find now when i take a day off now, i get bored unless im tinkering, driving or boating so you went the Pflueger, rod and reel?
mike
I had a site visit up at Yandina way (Sunshine Coast) yesterday and there is plenty of water and mud around the state forest tracks at the moment
the sad thing about that is i too had the day off and on the way to capalaba to get a sound system put in the prado i went the long way through gumdale to try and find a nice puddle to wash under the car........strange!
mainly because im not too sure of the water quality that is pumped out at the noosa northshore undercar cleaning station.
Holidays - What Holidays???? I don't know what you are talking about. Are they like sickies???? Glad I don't own a 4x4 (yet)
Ahhhhhhhhhhh North Qld. The things you find in 2 foot of water during the wet season .
I also got bored today... so a few mates and i headed out to a local little spot. We had a ball.
I was determined to not let this particular hill beat me this time... last time i drove it open centred i broke a diff. This time i wanted to do it without the air lockers in. As it turns out, the tyres filled with mud and i slid off course. Hit both diffs and drove out of it. Nearly layed it on its side about 30 seconds later though.
Moved the family to Tin Can Bay on the weekend,on the back to bris on sunday arvo gave the underside of the lux a good wash at the candoo(not sure of spelling)bridge, water was still a little high but no probs, beats the alternative route via maryborough, first time the trucks been wet underneath for a while though.
