Hi Garry, I know a store that has 1 but if it's the last they have it's the demo. Do you think thats a problem if not what would you think for price? Also I have been reading past post and these units seem to be very powerful, is this a problem in shallow water as i also do a lot of fishing inside chasing fish on the flats etc. Or am I better off just getting the 600 or ?.

Once boat is rigged with sounder and fully set up I would appreciate if one of you guys with a furuno would come out with me and teach me a few tips.

Tim I think the FCV 620 is a far better sounder than the 582. boat show soon so get ready with ya $$
