Rattlesnake Island Excercise

I've just read in the Townsville Bulletin that a bombing excercise will be taking place on Rattlesnake Island on Monday the 20/08/2007. The RAAF urges everyone to steer clear of the area if anyone was think of soaking a few baits/lures there. They recommend to exclude Halifax bay from any fishing plans on that day.

Just in case anyone was thinking of paying the place a visit check out the Public Notices in this newspaper today, tomorrow or Monday to see whether the training run has been cancelled or otherwise phone the RAAF base on 4752 1207.
