somewhere someone said that the 90/115 4 stroke suki,s are the same apart from a chip upgrade, my question is after seeing a 115 in the workshop today why does it have a 3/21x17 prop and mine only has a 3/17x14 prop, why is ther such a difference cheers ian

probably more than 'just a chip" if you look at the cost of a 115 over a 90, the cost of a "chip" at manufacturing time will be nothing, so there would be law suites all over the world for charging more for a product that did not cost any more to make (within reason) you will probably find the cam is different, the valves and lots of other bits and pieces, a proper parts manual will sort out what is different, lots of people try to make their motor the "next HP up" by swapping carbies and stuff, but just end up with a poor performing petrol using heap!

oh and on the prop, remember that from 90 to 115HP is 25HP nearly a 30% increase over the 90, so it can turn a much bigger prop!
