nice fish mate, cant wait till i get on myself!

i got this(my first) toga last weekend @ Hinze Dam during the bass electric comp. it measured 56cm and was taken on a 50mm squidgey fish rigged on a beetle spin blade. we spotted the fish up a narrow gap, like a drain, and i must have bumped it during the retrieve as it startled then whacked the lure a few cranks later. have to say the fight was nothing special but i suppose its only a small fish for this species.
Cheers Roo.

What did ya catch the hand on????
Jim
G'day Jim,
The minor thumb damage is from the jaw grip. And the blood in the palm (Between the thumb and index finger) is from the front treble.
I do know better .But to land,Photgraph,And release the fish as quickly as possible,A little carnage was a small price to pay .

Lol Rick. Not really a good fish to go sticking your thumb in their gob .
Got a new PB .
Went 77cm. Caught on the quick bee, which still catch's fish despite all its paint worn off. Gotta love surface fishing.
nice one Tim , she's a pretty solid Toga mate!! From the local puddle ?

Hey Tiges,
that first pic shows a mean looking fish, they sure have kept their prehistoric design. Awesome creatures !
Can't wait to finally catch one.
I have been a bit slack in posting these pics, but these are a few fish we caught in CQ a few months back during winter.
