Went for quick squirt out this arvo to try and duplicate last nights effort. I got 1 snap 47cm, mate got 1 cod and other mate got 7 snap in total, keeping 5. Also got black tip shark and wobbygong shark.
As let it rip said on another post still there. Just got to find them. Just lucky i got spot x.
Well done seahorse, that would be on bait i guess!, and i dont want to know where spot X is, but you see im a poor swimmer!!!, so if i fall overboard and need to paddle to closest land do you recomend i dog paddle to the north, south, east or west side of mud?, and how tall would i have to be to touch the bottom? cheers.
Nice work seahorse. You're right, there are a few about, problem is, just being at the right place at the right time isn't enough at the moment, youve also gotta be lucky.
Seems full eskies are rare as rocking horse shit at the moment. Mind you, I'm still enjoying my bag out from last week.mmmmmmmmmmmm
alleycat,
put a real smile on my face.
A paddle would be handy. If u fall overboard i wouldnt be worried about depth of water, only if something is chasing u. I can tell u it was bait. To be very honest they were all caught on whiting heads on a 5/0 gam octupus circle hook. They are great hooks.
Mate i dont mind talking about where we were. Northern end mud, in the normal car park that is there on weekends. Its just i found my own little spot that has been good to me.
I think its just like everywhere, u just try here and there, catch a few, mark the spot and hope they are there again next time.
Iam still waiting for the big bag out. Getting there.
