went for run to mud sun arvo, after wait for nearly an hour at clontarf for the tide to start coming in. Nobody was getting in or out.
Glass run out, got out about 4.30pm.
Got set at spot x, then about 5.30pm, started to get runs. Mate got 47cm and 50cm, plenty good runs but couldnt add. Then he got nice flatty. Iam still waiting to get first fish. His rods kept going off and mine just sat there. Would have been at least 6.30 then i got nice run, and landed 57cm snap.
Then all went quiet for about an hour, then few more short runs, then mine took off. The baitrunner was screaming. A good 10 mins later i could see some colour under the lights and it was a mother of a fish. Wouldnt fit into net, then finally got it in , it took 2 of us to lift it in. It was a snapper, 85cm going 7.5kg. My best fish ever. I was over the moon.
Then all went quiet again then about 8pm, i got another screaming run, and thought it was going to moreton, but turned it around and was a 60co snap.
Left about 9pm. What a top night.
Pics tomorrow night
Sounds like a top session mate. Why would you be wanting to chase bream on hardbodies when your having sessions like that on the snapps. Ill be chaeckin back in for the pics.
