Put the boat in at scarb this morning at 4.30 and wanderd across the dark bay to Curtin....stoped at a spot x on the way but the sounder was clear...gave it a go for 15 mins...then went to curtin....the current was honking, i know that place is best on the change of tide...but i dont control the tides...gave it a while there, didnt see anyone else there pick up anything....moved down to the wreaks...flicked around the nuke chooks...found some nice bream in a barge (see pic) problem was they kept going back in there....lost 4 jig heads...then hooked onto something that felt good...up he comes ..Mr Turtle....wasnt in a good mood either and he ended up taking the hook with him...i tried to get it out of him , but he wouldnt play the game , and i was solo.....still ill claim him as a PB Turtle......clean water there like at mud....but the difference was there was fish...they just went hungry, worth a try there at nite i reckon....got some yellowtail for bait...then left... had a look at scarb reef on the way back ...too many there and i decided to pull the pin and get some work done here instead....until friday....might try the reef there then....
