Hi ausfishers , here is my first fishing report .
I took the handbrake out to the mouth of the brissy river this morning where we discovered that one of the bungs was leaking , so we quickly upped anchor & sped back to the pinkenba boat ramp where we removed the bung ,fixed the oring & then headed back to the river mouth . we were getting little bites but no takers . possibly due to the school of bait fish around the boat . then the wife landed a 29cm bream on chicken breast , then she hooked her first legal squire at 36 cms . she has caught a few undies so now she was happy . next in the boat was a 27.5 cm squire for me on a frozen pillie . had been trying nuclear chicken & pumpkinseed softplastics to no avail . we then went over to mud where she hooked a little squire @ 19 cms next she got another bream @ 27.5 cms am i ever going to catch a fish ? then I netted a 35 cm well we thought it was a parrot fish but when checking the books it is apparently a blue tuskfish ... Well It had the teeth @ is of the right colour but I never thought you would catch one over at mud . next a little bream of 25 cms came on board both caught using mullet strips . will put picture on site( when the wife shows me how to do it )just to get comfirmation from ausfishers on this fish .

"she has caught a few undies" Haggis mate there's some dirty buggers about when your wife catches undies. We got a dirty nappy in the crab pot once when it was robbed but never any undies.
Good on you both for trying different baits and different methods and different spots to put some fish in the esky.
