    G'day

Go the maximum horsepower that you can within the limits of weight and financial restraints and servicing costs.

All motors are generaly very good these days.

Go for a 2stroke or DI 2stroke for any skiing work, other than that, any one will do.

Also factor in warranties, type of induction and also displacement of the particular engine. A small displacement means poor torque in comparison to a bigger displacement engine in the same HP bracket.

Go the Optimax 75 mate!! Top end speed would be worth it alone plus the hole shot you would get!

Nedy would they let you put a Honda 75hp on or a Suzuki 70? If so they would be my pick for a boat that size. A fella I meet up in Hinchinbrook said that the 60hp Yammy 4st. struggled with a couple of guys in the boat. He also said that they were a very wet boat. Not sure if he was smashing into the sea's but he has been around for a while.
