hi everyone,
i have a 27 mhz radio and the aerial tip has broken.the radio itself is brand new only one month old but i seem to get a heck of alot of interference and static. does anyone know if the broke tip would have anything to do with this problem? originall i thought it might have just been bad reception but ive been out a few times and its always the same,

replace your ariel for a start, radios require a set lenth ariel to work correctly. If it is the wrong lenth it can even damage the radio. Its al to do with the wave lenth of the radio transmit/reciece wave lenth.
