with a rdo on monday, there was only one the to do
i arrived at the ramp around 6, with 3 layers of cloths on i was still cold, after arriving at my first spot i decided to throw some plastics around for a while, then get bring out the bait.
first cast with the sp, n i was on to what i think was a good flathead only to have it spit the hooks.
after 20min i had only one more hit. so out came the baits, after an hr n a few moves all i had to show was one bream.
as i've only been to the pin a few times a mostly go to the same spots i decided to have a look around before heading to my spot x that hasn't let me down,
i managed to find myself a great little spot that i belive would fire i and outgoing tide. i managed to land one flathead from this spot before moving on. only to find that the brown weed was everywhere and i only managed to land i bream an a flathead, before heading home.
all in all i had a good time, if a little cold. end result was 2 keeper bream to 27cm and a 42cm flathead.
Brenno, at least you got to the ramp at a reasonable time, effort like that gets rewarded sooner or later - hopefully sooner. There's plenty of good spots at the pin, variety is the spice they say.
We found the same weed there on sunday mate and also found the fishing tough. Only landed a dozen average flatties between three of us for a lot of casting. A couple of other catches were a legal mackerel, a turtle and a ray all on plastics.
