    bribie weekend, thanks mulletmusketeer

i had the weekend to myself, so inspired by mulletmusketeer's reports from bribie of i trot.
got to buckleys hole about 7.00, tried to fish but the wind was too much, so off to whitepatch to see if it was a bit more sheltered, ok but not great, managed a 35cm flattie and that was the sum total for the day.
back to buckleys on sunday about 7.00 again. to damned cold to get out of the sleeping bag any earlier.
so this it, new plastics set up, thanks to my daugters mishap a few months ago, a bit more knowledge gleaned from ausfish.
try this try that, try another size jighead. up the current, down the current. slow, slower, stop. got the odd tap. tide change. then it all seemed to come together after months of zip.
first up 33cm bream, oh what a feeling (pity thats not a nissan ad.) next a 30cm then a 26cm. je**/s can it get better than this, freezing cold 3 layers on my legs under the waders, 4 layers on the top half even gloves for a while and big grin on my dial.
total: 3 keepers, and an undersize bream, a long tom and moses perch.

sorry people no pics as i totally forgot about taking any.

    cheers

Congrats on learing the placcy art Al.

Persistance will score you a result almost every time and its a lot better feeling scoring on plastics than on stinky old bait for some reason.
