Spend the evening @ Boggy Crk under the bridge last night ( 7:30 to abour 1am ) for not a single bite. There was a few guys there that caught a 55cm (ish) flattie on a pilly, but nothing for me. Had a pilly out and played with gulps most of the night, and a popper when some surface action started happening towards the end.
There always seems to be good surface action there at some point during the session. I suppose the baitfish must start get attracted to the lights and then the bream/ choppers/ soapies/ flathead or whatever is around start eating them. It is a theoretically a great spot bit can be inconsistent. Good luck and keep trying especially on the start of the run out of the bigger tides.
