Was recently reading an article comparing bass and EP's. It was stated in the article that EP's have the potential to grow much larger than bass (10kg vs 4kg). This raised my question on if efforts have been made to breed EP's in captivity, and if so, what are the possibilities of stocking EPs in our dams? As they are found is the same areas as bass, it might be a good candidate to help with the tilapia issues we have in the local SEQ dams as I don't think barra will ever be allowed.
