went for a last minute trip to 1770. fished bunkers for mixed bag of reds, trout, red throat, cod, parrot and pearlies. biggest red went 10.2kg. Also caught a horse red bass... dammit, i was sure it was to be a pb red.

Very nice catch ballsie! Is that a 6.5 kevlacat your in?? I have a property just south of agnes waters at rules beach dont know if youv heard of it?? Ive only fished off there once, went out from baffle creek to the so called 30 mile. Shocking trip blew up to 30 knots 3 metre swells, and very quickly. 3 fish and a long trip home

swano .. didn't put him on the scales i was too busy cursing. it was bloody fat and went straight back over board.
foxy ..yeh he has a way of finding the better fish, bastard.
ryan... yeh mate just a quick trip up the highway for six and a half hours, can't stay at home with these great conditions. hows your trailer axle now. i'm not fishing next w'end down at splendour inthe grass.
dean1... 2400 offshore kevlacat is the boat in the photo. owned by antony who posted the other 1770 report. we fished in brett's 625 outsider.
antony, it was really a great trip all round, only drama was running out of prawns from the trawler.

Ballsie,
I spent Saturday morning replacing the axle with a heavy duty 50mm new axle, new brakes and bearings, now I am itching at the bit for this weekend.
Hope the weather is ok, enjoy your weekend.
Cheers Ryan.

Re: fri and sat at 1770
only the one that made us s@#t ourselves. nice name bretto.... you wouldn't read about this bloody thing. ten o clock headin back for dinner in darkness and this bloody flying fish tries to join the party. W@HACK splat it to the side of the boat side screen. visions of the sixteen foot shark came racing back as we go down, not knowing what it was. heres this dirty big stain were we think a flying fish has ran into us. not sure if this is common.... not that i was worried mate. we were only 70 or 80 k'sfrom agnes
