    This happened in Mackay, read about it on a yacht forum or something like that, actually I think there was a link from here in another thread about a boat being dropped with some people in it.

    Where the boat ran up was the north wall of the harbour entrance, don't know how they did it but they did a bloody good job! I think from memory the boat was worth over a million dollars.

    heard some rummor about throttles jamming. But no reason why they still couldnt miss the wall.Oh well another few mil gone scrub

    mackay harbour it was,,,,,,,,, and from memory it wasn't even being skippered by the owner,,,,, it was undergoing a motor test by the mechanic ( or his recently sacked apprentice ),,,,

    alas,,, it does happen,,,, all too often

    Edleigh7, if you look closely at the top right of the photo, you can see the poor bugger trying to hold on.
