I had a drive out to moogerah today. The scene is pritty scary around the dam wall. Hundreds within the 100m or so I walked of boney bream in all sizes dead along the shore. Also saw two bass, one about 25cm the other about 45-50cm dead on the shore along with an eel tailed catfish.. Not a pleasant site at all!
That's a Bony bream for sure. I saw quite a few dead ones last time I fished NPD. I hope that not too many die as they are are major food source for larger fish.
There the little suckers that we try to mimick with a lot of our lures.
Well done Voodoochile for getting them on a lure. Very rare.
and not just one bloody two of them within 30 mins

I would have preferred to land a bass!!! Next time I will let B_E_N and Ed catch them and they can let me at the Bass! *jokes*

the dam is glenlyon and have seen huge schools of them but never caught one on lure even trying to run the lure threw the school, there cod food as far as im concerned, talking to a few older fishos and they said they had only ever got them on fly. missis has one up on me now.cheers bdowdy
