I fished the mouth of the river 5.30-7.30 am this morning with SP’s, without a touch. About 5 other boats & I only saw 1 fish caught.

hi didley,

i was out at mud and harries on 26th for same results. water temp between 13/14 deg and crystal clear and no run in tide on way in after lunch.had to be in 6m+ to not see bottom. saw 3 blokes in glass banana boat type boat get 3 snaps quick east of mud just after sun up but nothing for me. the bay was full of dolphins eating themselfs sick on what i think was small taylor and hardeyheads.
there was plenty of fish on sounder but not feeding either on rubbers or bait. dont know if it will be worth a go in river for a snap or not???
