    boat names

    Hi all,

    does anyone know if and how you have to register your boat name?

    Have visited Qld transport site but cant find anything.

    Hi Cam,

    Not necessary for a recreational craft. In fact I filled mine in when I registered the latest boat and they didn't even enter it.

    nar we just got our name "Patriotic" Printed on the side when we purchased it...U dont hav to register it but when 'calling VMR it helps!
