Moving to victoria! keen to change trailer wheels 10inch-13

Hi, was wondering if anyone had any info on changing my 10 inch wheels on trailer to 13 inch? its 5.1m trailer with those 10ply tyres, but am keen to put some bigger rims on it, there is plenty of clearence with guards, can i just echange the wheels? thanks

biggest reason for changing em is have been given the word that a promotion has come up at work and have to relocate from warm sunny northern nsw to Torquay in victoria!! massive change but the job is worth it so im packing up my family and the dog, boat, tinny, and heading down south! i have just finished my 5.1m runabout project new transom and floor and was keen to hit up a fish off tweed nefore leaving, but will take the old girl down im pretty sure i can launch off beach in torquay if not geelong or near where you get ferry to portsea,

if anyone can re assure me that the species of fish off victorias coast are equally as good as south east queensland, ? am a mad snapper fisherman and am told plenty down there, may even catch one of those elephant sharks Rex hunt gets into!!!

The wheels may go straight on. May not also.
The hardest thing to match is the offset of the wheels.
The 10" are sometimes early Holden stud pattern (or are they integral hub style??) and you may be able to go to a trailer place and try on a 13" HT pattern Holden wheel to see if it fits.
Sometimes you need to swap hubs and sometimes axle as well to suit the offset of the wheels.

Those wheels should be alright though to go on that trip. Late last year I brought my brothers boat up from Sydney with the 9" rims and not a sign of getting too hot or any bad habits.
Just make sure the bearing, tyres etc are in top nick and you should be right.
Where are you at the moment??

    thanks finga,

im currently at cabarita beach near tweed heads, tell ya what it will be a big change going from hear to torquay!! cold i herd wind chill was -1 in geelong 2 days ago, lucky i work for a leading clothing and wetsuit company that make warm clothes!!!!

also shattered cos ive just finished my boat project and have to move, so puts use on the back burner for a few weeks, will be posting hole project on ausfish when 100%complete

    Champion
If the wheels fit you might be better coming for a drive up to Brisbane to get your wheels.
There's a few places up here that sell the galv. wheels that are priced reasonably.
