Basically, the rears all the same (leaf springs) and so are the fronts (almost). My honest opinion is hilux is a base model 4x4 and navara's and rodeo's are cars that have been converted to 4x4's.

. I know that will rattle some cages here but thats what i think when i look at them. Ive never seen any rodeo or navara do any good 4x4ing (apart from beach work) but yeah they are basically all the same and just pick the 1 you like most (the newer models im talking about). If your going older models then difinately go the lux.
