    T Curve Jig Stick performance

Would be interested in comments on the performance of the Shimino T curve Jig stick (15-24Kg) as a bottom bashing rod in deep water when a lot of lead is required to get to the bottom.

Re: T Curve Jig Stick performance

I have a jigrex in 24kg and the t-curve in 37kg the 24 is good still has a nice tip and has the power. but how much lead are you using?

thanks sound like you are happy with it..a couple of size 10 round plus bait..Would the tip be too soft to fish with that weight on board

Thumbs up Re: T Curve Jig Stick performance

I use the T-Curve 200 [24kg] with 50lb braid on a Tekota 800 and snapper leads for deep water fishing, as it has a parabolic curve the tip isn't soft at all, you'll love it on good fish.

I Also Use A T-curve Deep Jig 200 And Torium 20 With 30 Lb Braid For Float Lining Snapper And Found It A Lovley Rod And It Has Heaps Of Power To Turn Them Quickly. I Dont Think You Wil Go Wrong With A T-curve 400. I Have A T-curve 400 And Spheros 14000 That I Use For Jigging Ang It Is A Brutal Rod With Some Real Grunt Cant Wait To Hook A Big Aj This Season.

Just bought the T-curve 200 with a spheros 12000 for all my trolling, Jigging and live bait in. After seeing these rods in action I couldn't find anything like it. Doesn't look like much, but plenty of go!

I have been wondering the same thing, by snapper leads, do you mean 2lb?
We only use 1.5lb or 2lb, would they cope?

onerabbit, I usually only need 1/2-1lb most of the time, 2lb might be better on the T-Curve 400 [24-37kg] , what line are you using?

Where did the onerabbit come from?
