    See what I say about transom mount being fine if installed correctly?

    Yeah,thats a nice job sjp2.
    I havent tried mine yet but my boat is alloy and I followed the instructions which said to mount the transducer flush with the bottom of the boat.
    Will have to test it out hopefully tomorrow.Hope I dont have to go to the trouble you did to get a good result.
