    7 mile beach closure

Wasnt sure where to post this,so mods feel free to move it.Anyway the beach is closed for 4wds exept a mere3.3 kms before the next shire. The entry point is now around a lake not were it use to be.I picked up a brochure which states its for safety reasons. In fact it was so safe that a rottweiler were charging at my kids while being walked by its owner, within the rules i must say as its considered safe to walk a dog offleash As you may have guesst it its the better part of the beach that have been closed where the best gutters usually were.

They've also closed (to fishing) the entire boulder beach and the corner area where 7 mile starts.
Used to be a great spot - caught plenty of good fish there. Not anymore - I won't be going back either.

When was Boulders closed? I know that most of Lennox Head is now out of bounds but have had no info on Boulders.
WHERE was the notice published for the 7 mile closure? Was it in the Northern Star? or was it just posted at the beach entry? Is the beach closed to fishing or just to 4wd ?
Appreciate any info, thanks, Rob (Ballina).
