outboard motor spares
Hey guys,
where is the best place to get outboard engine spare parts? is there a place like repco but for boats? or do you have to order through a dealership / mechanic?
I need some bits and pieces and am not too sure where to start looking. Thanks

Re: outboard motor spares
depending on what parts your after
oils almost any where
internals pretty much as you mentioned
but a bit off base got some bits for a honda from a mower shop about 3/4 the price than dealership
but pretty much youve covered the majority
but it does pay to look around

Re: outboard motor spares
my motor, 25hp merc forward control model, doesnt have shallow drive option like the tiller steer models- its either fully up or fully down, and hydrolic tilt and trim is out of the question, I want the part off the tiller model to see if it will fit.

I have used far north queensland wreckers and they are cheap as, even mail ordered it for me to Wollongong south coast NSW.
Look them up with google.
