Cold Sunday Offshore at Wide Cal
Left bribie in Micks Stingray with Meggsy on board for a bottom bash offshore. The w/sw was stronger the further out we got {15+ knots} and conditions were ordinary. Started a drift on first light but wind against current was unfishable so out with the pick. A few nice fish early then an endless supply of undersize pearlies and squire forced a move. Trying to anchor on the smaller reef patches with wind and tide now in the same direction caused much frustration for all and found ourselves off the mark. Stuck it out till the wind dropped after lunch and come home with a feed.
Good to be out on the water after a spell though the heater in the sky took till midday to peel the beanie off!
Happy Days...

Well done Mate. Did Scare Crow give you any tips on how he anchors offshore? As soon as your semi pro golf career is over we will organise a trip. Cheers TINHEAD.
