    banks sunday

Headed out to the northern banks sunday lunch time in great conditions. Drifted lots of spots in 60-90m of water, only small shows on the sounder, caught a few here and there, mainly parrot and undersize pearlies. Lots of boats sitting in 80-90m. Late afternoon went down to the southern end and anchored up for sunset. Got a good burley trail going and managed to pick up a couple of snapper/squire just as the sun went down. They only came on for about 20min and then were gone. Moved out to 80m again after the bite stopped and picked up a few bits and pieces but it was hard work. The wind picked up about 9pm and howled all night . Didnt fish the sunrise as everyone on board had been crook all night (first time seasick for me.... maybe i wont laugh so much now when other people get sick ). With a mutiny becoming a real possibility i headed in early.
came home with 25 fish but worked pretty hard for them.
