Would like to know what rod action are you using for plastics on the reef.
Line 30lb braid Water depth 30-80m jig head 1-3oz.

Hi Mark,

As well as the S10 Egrell, Eric has also made me a big brother specifically for the heavy 1 - 2oz jig heads.

I call this rod "Big Bertha". I have caught amberjack to 25Kg with it without any trouble.

The best thing about this rod is that I can cast it a really long way and it still gives me a lot of feel.

The rod that Frank is talking about is a custom rod built to do a job that requires a mor powerful rod. An equivalent in our range for the 1-2oz jigheads is BeaR Metal. It is an 8-10kg rod that can also be used for high speed spinning.
