Garry - can you post some pics up on the install. Really interested in the NMEA hook up -did you use a terminal strip or just direct crimps?

There is really nothing to it.

connect a few hoses to the existing helm
bleed the new system..needed less than 500ml of oil to do this and it was supplied with the kit.
mount the course computer.
hook up power to the computor (wiring supplied)
earth the course computor (it has a special terminal for this)
hook pump wiring to the course computor using wirring supplied.

connect 1 nmea wire (receive ion S100 and send on GPS)
ensure com port set up on GPS to 4800 Baud rate.

Turn on remote and away ya go

This may be the only downfall of the unit, (not that I am experienced with any others) you have to Authorize the new waypoint on the remote when the initial waypoint is reached.

Thanks Garry - good feedback. I was looking at the Garmin but for the $ I will go with the Ray.
