Just thought i would post a couple of pics of my new bilge pumps fitted to the boat. Larger one is a Rule 3700gph with manual activation, the second one is a Rule 2000gph with a float switch fitted & manual or auto operation. The old one sounded a bit funny when i used it last, it was very rusty inside with bits rattling around. These badgirls should be more than adequate for the job....lol.....

Hey mate is that 3700 a 12 or 24 volt set up?Couple of year's ago all i could find was a 2000 in 12 volt and was told by a couple of people anything over that would be a 24volt pump.Dan....
Dan, Both pumps are 12 volt. I bought them from Ebay America, they wanted around $330 AUS for a 3700 pump over here. I think i payed around $160 AUS for it including frieght. I think Bias have the 3700 pump, not sure if it's a 12 or 24 volt unit though, just give them a ring.

I hope that your going to put a hose clamp on that 2000 !!!! Maybe your going to turn the bilge sump into a recirculation area ?
Also obviously make sure you have used suitable wiring and switching. I think the 2000 may draw 6-8 amps and the 3700 coming up to 10 amps loaded ?Some of the lower cost switch panels cant handle such high current. We dont want you to get swamped and then find something blows or melts after running it for 5mins.
There is certainly a fair bit of pumping capacity there. Nice work.
I run a 500 auto and 1500 manual in my rig, + have my old 1100 on clip leads with a few meters of hose as a back up or to pass to another boat in an emergency.
