Thanks....... For a job well done.

    Hey Guys and Gals,

I think from time to time we are all faced with having to get stuff done on our boats. In all fairness there are some out there that are just willing to rip people off, do the wrong thing which leaves a bad taste in our mouths.

As some Ausfisher's would know, we have a 195 Allison Vision.
The Hull is a '97 model, we bought her about 3-4 years ago.

In this time the paint was getting a lil worse for ware and the stitching
on the covers were starting to pull, the clears were no longer clear,
the anti-foul needed doing again and she was up for her 50hr service.

So I would like say a very big Thanks and give a bit of a referral so
others on here have a idea on where to go and have an idea of what these guys are like.

First on the agenda was the detailing, I couldn't be a happier with the service that our own Dave "Blackened". I have had the boat detailed in the past and let me say that the end result from Dave was fantastic. He has truly brought her up looking like new.

Second was replacing the clears and re stitching the covers. I took her down to
Rowland street boat trimmers. Gary down there has done a awesome job of
mending lil tears and tightening the canvas and making sure that all the loose buttons now stick and the clears are actually clear now.

Third and finally. Was the Anti-fouling. I rang around and got quoted some absolutely stupid prices. The guy that previously did the anti fouling doesn't do it any more I really felt stuck. He recommended me to Ship to Shore, I spoke with
John there and he was cheeky and confident. Whilst the boat was there I asked him to fix up a crack in the fiberglass where the battery goes and do a couple of other lil things as well. The communication from him was superb. I received a number of phone calls making sure that the job was getting done how I wanted and not short cutting any corners.

I picked up the boat today and let me tell you she is looking great. Just in time for the good weather this week end. Out of all this I have received exceptional service. All have delivered what was discussed prior to accepting the job, to top it all off if has cost a few bickies but I have received value for money. I can honestly say that all of the above have been fair and reasonable on price.

I would just like to make others aware of the treatment that I received so they too can be as happy as I am with everything that has been done.

    Big Thanks Guys

    Aj

That's a beautiful looking rig Kiktz,

I just wondered about the importance of the anti-foul ???

Does your boat spent a lot of time in the water at a go?

Certainly not meaning to be picky, just wondered about the importance of anti-fouling on a trailered boat?

    There's a difference here mate.
AJ is praising the work he has already had done on his boat not try to drum up business.
It just happens to be that one of the people responsible for doing a great job is a member of this forum.
Dave isn't looking for work...someone is saying thanks....big difference.

AJ....that's a really nice boat and it has come up a treat...bit too nice for a cabbage seller I reckon
I intend on living for-ever....so far so good

Cheers Shano, Understand your not trying to be nasty.
It is just good to make other Ausfishers aware of guys that
do, do what they say and as a satisfied customer giving these guys a public thanks is the least I could do.

How many posts to we see on here of guys and gals that pay for a service
and end up more than un happy. For my liking its becoming all to often.
What ever happened to do things on a handshake and getting what you paid for. We in the past have had it happen to us, where you want to rip someones head off cause they have ripped you off.

If these guy get business out of this well so be it. Ausfishers well be the winners.

Scotty, How many times I gotta tell ya, Cauliflowers Mate Caulies

    Cheers Aj
