Guys, where can i get a cheap furno. i know 1299 is the recommend price. Overseas is $1000 delivered. so i thinking around $1200 i would buy from australia.
Anyone infor on where to buy around that price or cheaper would be good.
Taylor Marine import Furuno and supply to the different dealers.
Ask them for a list of their dealers and email or ring them(the dealers) for their best prices.
Taylor(as the importers)are smart enough not to undercut there dealers.
This(calling the local dealers) will give you the best local price.
You can then either pay around $1200 with ducer to buy locally or pay around $900 delivered from scuba steves or comparable US site (despite recomendations b o n z e r is far from the cheapest).
Your call, mate.Buy it local and pay an extra $300 bucks over importing and receiving the same unit and local warranty or buy it O/S and shoot off an email to Taylor Marine explaining why you bought O/S and why they need to lift their game and be more competative in regards to pricing.($300 bucks is too much for me to overlook ).
Dont know where you guys got yours from o/s, but mine cost me well under $1000 delivered from memory, and i had it at my door in 4 or 5 days. look up www.cascademarinenavigation.com. Service was excellent.
