    Bar Crusher's

    G'day Ausfisher's

Have a mate looking at the Bar Crusher plate boat.
I have heard nothing about them, I was curious to know if any one
could fill me in on them.

He is in the market for a 6m Plate, I have recommended Fishers which
he is looking at. Is there any other hulls that he should keep in mind.

    Thanks In advance Aj

The Bar Crushers are a Victorian made boat. If you have a look on the "Fishnet" site you'll find plenty of info, mostly pretty positive.

Hard to go past the Fisher of that size. Easy to customise and if you are close enough, great to see your boat being built.

    Re: Bar Crusher's

The show hook, line and sinker hosts hav a 640 bar crusher and it looks good. It looks like it rides good but they arent the best looking boat around. The hosts of the show go out in pretty rough weather and they ride good.
Have a look around before u buy one though...because i dont know the Specs!

    cheers alex

    Re: Bar Crusher's

Might be worth googling the melbourne university dive club. They had one for a while but found it did strange things downhill (ie broachy) - hardly surprising since it has no strakes.

I looked at them but found the helm position awkward.
