Gold Coast Sea way
If i went down there for some land based action. Seeing how the boat is out of action
what would i likely catch now
and how should i go about it

plenty of options, either bait, slugs or soft placcys will produce.
good bream around at the moment as with the trevally, maybe even some tailor might be poking there noses inside the seaway?
anythings possible in the seaway, heck I pulled in a 40cm squire afew weekends ago!

Have a crack at the bream down there this time of year. Early morning, in coming tide should get a couple. They love pillie fillets on ganged 1/0's.

We saw a woman with 2 kids fighting with something very large on Saturday halfway along the rockwall. Got it near the sufrace only to watch it break off. She didn't use a trace and it obviously had some choppers. Also saw a Vietnamese gentleman catch a nice Golden Trevor using a metal lure right at the end last week.

Mate was down at the top of the tide today landbased and scored a haul of good size Bream, all released. 4lb gear with whitebait from the shop.
Frustrated people around him caught nothing, lol. They were probably fishing too heavy.

A number of guys have been nailing blackfish at the seaway recently.
