    As for insurance. Forget it.

That's what I was thinking. there was a seat belt ad in the UK that showed a car pulling away from the kerb.........the driver was fastening up his belt when another car hit him...................he ended up a quadraplegic when he hadn't travelled 10 metres and the insurance was void 'cause he hadn't completed seat belt fixing.

100 metres from ramp or 100000 metres from ramp.............it doesn't matter, you've voided your insurance the moment you exceed your towing weight.

    Tinn,

I looked at the Allison Fisherman, 19 foot,, at the last boat show and was very impressed with it and i think it was a reasonable price.
The deckie wanted to update to it buti decided to stay with the 555 yalta.
I think Cruisecraft you pay a lot for cosmetics and Allison you pay for the boat with little cosmetics.
    Both nice boats though.
    Cruisecraft Allison, Cruisecraft Allison........................................... ....................

    Tinn,

Just a thought, the Yalta 615 with a 150 yamaha 4/s is about 45k and is a nice boat and comes in at just under 2 tonnes.

I don't know what your opinion is of Yalta but i am impressed and got good service from Marine Tune at Burleigh Heads. I don't know what area you are in though.

I am not advertising for them but making a statement of my dealings.

I also know someone with this boat but they have a 150 opti on the back.
For the money I think its an impressive package.
If you want all the bells and whistles and have an extra 20 grand(or more) to spend on a boat than the haines or cruisecraft are pretty flash.

Thanks for all your help guys I will take a look at some of the boats you guys recomended and make a decision. So far I am leaning towards the allison 21ft vision but will have to go back and have a look at the cruisecraft again.

LMAO BAT! I've already got 2 new cars so i don't really need a 3rd... Can't remember the last time i held anyone up in my boat either !

Seriously though champ, fancy having a dig at someones misfortune?! Your parents must be extremely proud! No wonder society is going to the dogs!!

Not sure what your post has to do with this topic either - must be built up frustration and tension i guess - maybe you need to go and catch a fish to make you feel better... I'm lead to believe it's a great feeling!

ozbee the dealer told me it was 3000kg towing weight plus any extra stuff you throw in like eskys etc. I personally would tow that size boat with a landcruiser they are rated at 3500kg towing capacity you need a liitle up your sleve for safety. But I guess you are about to find out once you put the boat on the new car good luck becareful it is one big boat to be towing

My Parent's are both deceased so I will ignore that part. Catch fish you really need to think outside Morton!. To knowingly take dodgie cars and boats out is thoughtless and is unwarranted of sympathy when they break down.

No disrespect intended to your parents!

What i really want to know BAT is that you're whole life, you've never had anything mechanical fail?! You'd be the only one! What a stupid comment to make! Every car and boat that appears 'dodgy' should be taken out of circulation?

What i also want to know is why you hid your dig at me under 'Boating Chat' and not in Reports where i regularly frequent?! Or is it you don't want the majority to see your 'true colours' and the stupidity of your narrow minded comments?
