The V4
Well the Evinrude is on and i went for a run up the river on Sunday i'm VERY happy with it (agen THANKS wayne) i got 32 knts ot of it with a 17p prop is this resonable??

never mind the speed, do you have a tacho? if so make sure you can get at least 5500RPM easy. that is a faily light boat for a 90 so I dont think speed is going to be a problem.

Was that GPS? If so then 32kn is not reasonable, like noelm said speed will not be a problem. Closer to or even above 40kn depending on how well it was finally setup would be reasonable if I estimate your boat size/weight/style correctly.
I got 36kn wot out of a 3cyl 90hp yam on a 6m overall tinny on the weekend (little bit more left) and your engine has more performance than mine, I got 26kn wot the first time I put it in the water.

I used to have an older Johnno 85 version V4. Went like mad and started first pop every time (in a cloud of blue smoke). I could even easily pull start it.
