    margate

    hi all fished out front of margate yes arvo/night,started off jigging some yellowtail got about 30 .wind backed right off,moon started coming up but fish weren't real accommodating managed 4 bream & 1 squire.sorry no pics cause mate took fish home(bigger tribe)anyway had fun and good to wet a line

    good stuuf mate, you should have been chasing whitting, we wer at shorny and ran out of worms before the fish backed off, was a good night to be out tho, althought the wind changed at around 930 and that made it a bit cold

    Hmmmmm winter whiting might have to get the kids out and chase a few cause their as sweet as the misses was when i meet her 17yrs ago

    found an awesome way of cooking them also last night seeing as i ran out of breadcrums, and had no corn flakes i resorted to crunchy nut!, crush that up as fine as you can and crumb them in that, the honey in it makes the fish that little bit sweeter, another crunchy nut!

    crunchy nut whiting actually sounds very nice and if the misses read the post i'd have the crunchy nuts(ouch).

    Gedday warrior1. Just wondering if you tried throwing one of them yellowtail out live? My mate dezzer has had a couple smashed off redcliffe as livies. Might be worth a go!!

    BEN mate the whithing are sweet enough, after that meal you would have to make an appointment with the Dentist.

    hi therapy,we did have some out live not a sniff,filleted most which caught most of the fish. whenever there around we always use them for bait(fresh is best).
