I wanting to do a charter out of Mooloolaba, the only one I know of is Flat Dog. Can anyone give me a recommendation for a good one ?? I hate big boats with more than about 8 or 9 people at a time, like to keep my catch.
Well worth trying Outside Edge Charters (Capt Andrew Yeh). Andrew charters two boats - a Kevlacat 2400 (Inside Edge) - max of 4 anglers I think, and Outside Edge (34ft Blackwatch). Also has a website if you wanted to google it.
Yeha is pretty much only doing Jigging and Game charters now. Flat Dog might be your best bet. There are some smaller outfits doing it. Not sure of the status of Bruce Cooper at the moment. He would be one guy to chase up. Carlo Marchese must have a setup going as well out of something like a Boston Whaler. There are pamphlets for most of these operations at Wellsys Tackle. Outside Edge and Flat Dog have good websites though.
